Hi, I’m Alice, CREATIVE WELLBEING facilitator and positive bean π
I founded Creative Breaks to help adults live more creatively, which is code for helping you play, open your mind, connect with the moment, look after your wellbeing with self-care, and live better!!
creative Self-care

I am bonkers about getting creative every day in order to live well and feel good.
I call this creative self-care: doodling, singing, cooking, dancing, chatting, nature walks, meditating, journalling–you name it. It’s the things that bring back to yourself, help you move into the rest and digest part of your nervous system, and to become more self-awareness and compassionate.
No judgement or expectation for an outcome.
Just presence, humaness, and play.
ITπ IS π MAGIC!!
That’s creative self-care.

it π Is π magic!! π it π Is π magic!! π it π Is π magic!!
Creative self-care eases your mind, improves mood, reduces stress, overwhelm and loneliness, teaches you to communicate what you’re thinking and feeling, shows you how to let go of perfectionism, makes you more resilient, and teaches you to be self-accepting and loving.
No judgement or expectation for an outcome.
Not only this, but it lowers the heart rate, blood vessels dilate, the mind becomes calm and open, so you feel more optimistic and hopeful. Plus, you get dopamine and endorphins, meaning cortisol levels are lowered in your bodies.
My mission is to help you (adults) take up creative self-care habits so you can regulate your nervous system, feel inspired and free, and get the most out of your one precious life.
Creativity makes dreams a reality
In 2023, me and my husband Ε½iga cycled from Slovenia to Southampton Hospital in the UK, where my dad was treated for cancer.
We found sponsors for all our kit (bikes, helmets, sunglasses, bikepacking bags, supplements, jerseys–which we also designed–mudguards and harnesses) and cycled over 2000km unassisted in 31 days. We planned a totally unique route, organised places to say each night, raised over 17,000β¬ for charities, and sang a lot en route.
We arrived to Southampton on what would’ve been my Dad’s 59th birthday and had a big celebration with family and friends, making a sad day a happier one (Look at us all together π )
